The swordsmen raised their weapons and went into a defensive stance. They were not going to trust anyone at this point , they had enough surprises , big elephants, gryphons letting some one ride them and a portal travelling freak who speaks to himself. So far, they had seen bandits organise themselves and fight.
"Lower your weapons men. We do not pose a threat to your city, sir."

At Shrivia
"I see.. you should be rewarded for this brave deed."
The man stuck out his hand and Kravis shook it.
"Tell you what, head east of here. You should arrive at Alsdair's army camp on the road between Menian and Shandon. He is a representative of Count Alfons. He will reward you handsomely for defending the Count's city. We will stay and smoke out any remaining bandits."
The armoured man was obviously unaware that Xan and Kravis were the Rebels the Count was going to wage war upon.
They now had knowledge of the location of the Count's army.
Should they confront Alsdair and hope to gain his help?

Kravis looks back at his gryphon and then looks at the sun.He needed to decide whether he shoudl pursue his wish to run after the elves or should he get to Alsdair. He decides do get reinforcements. He calls Xan to the corner and whispers to him.
"Meet Alsdair. Ask him to join the rebbelion."
He walks over the corpses and orders his men to pick up the dead and give them a good death.THe graveyard was filling up. He felt like a politician. The people die yet the hero doesn't.He walked up to Draveen and saw the men act weird with the bodies of the bandits. He dismounts and says
"Was not he a man just like you? Was not he a father just like you? was not he a son of God just like you?Do not behave like a child"
As he was walking to Draveen his mind exploded .Whispers everywhere.
"It is your fault"
"Death is a boon"
"Release yourself"
"I am sorry father"
Kravis passed out

Lord Xan is starting to get annoyed with Kravis constantly fainting and getting lost in thoughts. Now that Kravis had passed out he would have to either wait for him to gain conciousness or take all the men and go to Alsdair or head back to base camp. He suddenly had a brilliant idea.
He spoke : " Men, im leaving you a huge responsibility. Will you take Kravis and head back to base camp? You may elect a leader. He will lead you all back to camp until Kravis gains conciousness. I am going to Alsdair to speak to him. Be well men." With that he walked up to the chief of the town guard.
" I will need you to come with me to meet Alsdair, to tell Alsdair of the deed we have done clean up and doubt between us. Lead me there. " He finished.

The men head back to base camp. There are 65 men in all.
Xan and an escort of 15 riders head towards the camp on the road.
((Alsdair, you do the entrance of Xan and the city guard.))

Shrivia The decurion of the city watch lifted an eyebrow, - 'Alsdair?' Came his quistion, answered by one of his men, - 'The Counts current favored officer.' That seemed to satisfy the decurian and he instructed ten men to act as an escort for Xan.
The Camp Alsdair wondered over what he had heard, before shrugging. - 'I will convey your proposal to the Count.' He said knowing what would follow, the Count would tell him to forsake any military actions until he arrived in person to negotiate further. Before he could say anything to Aten the tent flap was opened and his squire stood their, - 'My lord, riders.' Alsdair turned his gaze to Aten with an un-voiced question, 'Treason?'. - 'Aten, you will accompany me.' - the knight turned to his squire and ordered, - 'Lead the way.'
*
The guards at the gate stood with crossbows ready with everybody else strapping on armor and getting to position at their appointed war-wagons. A challenge was issued to which the Shrivians gave the reply that got them inside the camp, sorounded by soldiers and with Alsdair standin in front of them. - 'Well? What is it?' He demanded.
A camp near the capitol. The chair was thrown to the ground by the marshal's sudden motion as he jumped to his feat at the knews. - 'They've reached the Lithania army!?' - 'Yes, lord Marshal!' The scout stated while wishing he was somewhere else. There was a moments silence as the marshal thought over the matter. - 'Prepare to move out!' He barked, soon his order was echoing across the camp, only a small group was sent to inform the king of what had come.

The Rebel Camp:
The men return to the camp, happy to see that it had not been ravaged by wild animals or the king's men.
Total forces = 30 Swordsmen, 5 longbowmen, 30 riders, 1 ballista, 1 oiliphaunt
((I have edited the numbers a bit so thats its easier to command))
Kravis is laid down on a bed and taken care of by a few soldiers with some medical experience. They begin setting up their defenses. The elected leader allots each man a battle station. Mitzu tends to the massive Oiliphaunt, feeding him an assortment of leaves and shruberry. One can hear him hum a faint tune:
Grey as a mouse, Big as a house, Nose like a snake, I make the earth shake, As I tramp through the grass; Trees crack as I pass. With horns in my mouth I walk in the South, Flapping big ears. Beyond count of years I stump round and round, Never lie on the ground, Not even to die. Oliphaunt am I, Biggest of all, Huge, old, and tall. If ever you'd met me You wouldn't forget me. If you never do, You won't think I'm true; But old Oliphaunt am I, And I never lie.
((By J.R.R Tolkien, not me.))

The thundering hooves approach. They are now visible. Apparently, Xan is being escorted by 15 Shrivian men.
Alsdair's men are almost about the charge when he jump's of his horse and speaks :
" Now , now you really don't want to start with me. I mean no harm. I am just here with the city guard of Shrivia. I believe they have some information to give you. Regarding how we erradicated the bandit presence from their city. Go ahead tell them." He waits for the leader of the city guard to speak.

"He speaks the truth, my Lord. Shrivia had been under seige for several days. Xan, Kravis and the rebels defeated the rowdy hordes that invaded our city. He poses no threat to us as far as I can tell."
The leader moistened his burnt lips before continuing.
"Count Alfons had moved most of our troops out of the city. We we're left virtually defenseless."

"Aahh!"
Kravis awoke but not in the world. Inside a cage.
What.. Where am I?
Kravis saw his other laugh and vanish. He had taken over the body.

Shandon The messenger, still covered in the dust of his travel, passed his message to the chamberlain, who passed it on to the king. "From Albrecht, son of Helbrecht Marshal of his Royal Majesties armies to Rayon, through the grace of the gods king of Shandon etc. Greetings. The rebels have sent emissaries to the Lithanian host. I am moving their know to ensure that his loyalty remains un-changed, or to punish him for his treason. As I understand most of the rebel leaders are there I suggest that your majesty sends some men under the command of my junour Marshal, or under some other officer your majesty trusts, to block the rebel armies at their current position near Shrivia, and crush them if possible."
The Camp: Alsdair did not speak, neither than any other of the men, except for Alsdairs Chaplain, - 'A good deed, a good deed. Though it would not have been needed if you did not start this conflict.' Alsdair lifted his hand, demanding silence and spoke, - 'True, father. Yet it is a good deed, and one that was good for us.' A pause during which one could hear the knight sigh, - 'Somebody get some wine or beer for our geusts. Aten! You and any others you deem worthy to negotiate on "your" sides part will come to my tent in ten minutes, we will continue our discussion then.' - the knight paused and shouted, - 'The rest of you get back to work, this is a military camp for crying out loud!' With that the knight turned around and went to his tent, to inform the Count of what was happening.

Alsdair's Camp:
"Ah! Wine!" Aten exclaims jovially. "I wonder if there's any cheese."
Ten minutes passes quickly enough, as the exhausted men fill their empty stomatchs. Aten and Xan march into Alsdair's tent. They were going to have to make a convincing argument to turn a man like Alsdair to their side.
((You initiate the disscussion, Alsdair.. if you dont mind.))

* It was so awkward in the tent. The silence was killing Lord Xan. He had to say something. Yet, what could he say? He would be too obvious. He remained silent out of respect for Alsdairs father chaplain. He was waiting for either of the to begin the conversation.*

Alsdair was seated, looking at some maps as they entered, without even looking up he says; - 'Well than gentlemen? What is it that you can offer the nobility? As you can guess we have much to lose if those of your ideas gain power, and we would gain much from destroying your little movement. To say nothing of such matters as we're all honor bound to serve the King, no matter how dim he is.' The knight lifted his head and looked at his guests, their wasn't the faintest hint of amusement on his face, it was the face of a man of power talking about matters that he would prefer not to.

Lord Xan spoke:
" Well, first off Alsdair, lets be honest here. Do you REALLY think the king will do what he pledges to do? Do you not realise what low levels he has fallen to?
Give us your support and if we manage to defeat the king, Shandon will be run as a democracy, and we will always aid you in millitary affairs. We will help your counties grow by opening new trade routes etc.
Also we heroes, will pledge our services to your Count whenever needed. If any of us do not help when help is needed we will personally catch him and surrender him to you. Those I believe would be the terms. Aten do you wish to add anything?"
