((tell me if this is elaborate enough you git..)) Ishtar walks into the room, checks the bed out, having cancelled out any signs of danger or harm, keeps his weapons and bag on one side of the bed and settles in for the night.

"I hate this place. Princes are mistreated, noo in my land we respect nobility...."
Kravis continues to whisper under his breath. As he unpacks and neatly arranges his stuff in one of the closets.he closes the closet and says
"This one is mine. You do not approach it at any moment of time. You touch it you will face consequences. You barbarians can fight for the other one."
With this, he grabs a book on "Nobility and Nobles" and sits down on the study table.

Ishtar, after some time, falls asleep murmurring something about being a noble b*****d. He rests his eyes, however, he is completely capable of detecting any disturbance in the room.

The group relaxes through the afternoon. Evening falls as the sun's light blends into a deep red. A messenger arrives and knocks on the door.
After being given permission to enter, he walks into the lodge and begins reciting the message the Captain had told him to deliver. He starts out with a seemingly endless list of formalities and titles. An entire minute passes before the boy actually tells them of anything important.
"Crowe is within the port. He is currently in disguise, creating weaknesses within our defense. The Captain has received this message from a trusted source. Apparently, this Dictator is more of a cult-leader than anything. He is exploiting a science he calls 'Mechanics' to create terrible war-machines, the likes of which we have never seen. I will bring more information from the Captain if we gain any. Be on the lookout for any suspicious activity."

Ishtar jumps from his bed, and starts to strap or sheth all his weapons, he holds only spear in one hand as there was no holster for that weapon. As he sheaths the scimitar and staff, he slings back his bag, containing the dagger and sabre canine. Being fond of his posessions, he feels them to make sure thay have not been tampered with. He then says out,"Time for us to head to the coast, you, boy lead us there." Then turning around to kravis he says,"Will the noble be joining us? Or is he to pre-occupied with his book on how to dine?", Ishtar smirks.

"Wait, before we leave... why are we going to the coast?"
The fair-skinned boy eyes Ishtar quizzically.

Lifaen stops reading his book and goes over to one of the "un-noble" cupboards and puts his book back into the shelf. There is a book about aristocrats there. "all rubbish," he murmurs putting the book in front of Kravis' cupboard. He then gets ready to go to the port. He takes his staff and concentrates to defend his mind in case these creatures are psychic geniuses which are .. uncommon among humans.

Ishtar looks at the boy,"Actually, we'll patrol the area, go back to the captain and tell him that, if he sees any signs of any trouble, call us immediately."

The boy bows and leaves the room. He had barely walked out of the room when a metallic clang and a terror-stricken scream is head. The heroes dash towards the entrance to see what had happen.
"HELP! HELP!!" the boy shrieks.
The scene you see is horrifying. The boy's leg has been caught within the metal jaws of a massive snare. Blood spurts out from his thigh as he writhes in extreme pain.
The person who set the trap was obviously aiming for one of you. No one could possibly want to kill the messenger boy.
((You all have a good idea of what a snare is right?))

Ishtar runs for the trap and swings at it with his spear, then using his wits he, wedges the spear into the contraption and using his spear as a lever , tries to pry open the trap.

((Woah, cool pick))
It takes a good deal of strength to pull the jaws apart. The boy quickly withdraws his leg from the contraption when the snare is wide open. Two attendants rush through the corridor and lay the bleeding child on a stretcher. You hear him thank Ishtar profusely before he is carted off. One of them stays behind and begins questioning you.
"How did this happen? Do you own this trap?"

"No ,none of us heros here own this trap. Yes, it is a trap , not for the child but for us. Ishtar,Stay on your guard! They have recognised us as heros. Check everything before you touvh it."
Kravis has understood the basic fact that someone was out to assasinate them. Crowe was on the move.
"Ishtar, meet me back at the room. I have something important to discuss with you. Do not get killed on the wat friend."
Kravis walks up the stairs as he tightens his cloak. Some how he was scared, watching his everystep. Thinking before he moved. What was it that haunted this magician?

Ishtar looks shocked, but then returns to his previous stare,"Yes, i have nothing better to do than to trap kids!", he says sarcastically. Then calms down and says,"No, it was a trap meant fro one of us",he points at the two heroes next to him then to himself."This is getting serious, i think we should split up and search, be careful." With this ishtar moves through the corridors, searching for traps and possible dangers.

Lifaen searches the world of minds and then steps out carefully after cautious movements. Noone would be so inhumane to harm a little innocent boy. The person who wants them dead is obviously a person who doesn't care about the lives of other people.

Not far away, in the port guard's main armory, an explosive of incredible potency lies in hiding. The common man of this age would call it a bundle of red sticks. The common man of later ages would call it dynamite.
The explosion was massive. It was also thunderous. The sheer force of the blast tore apart the armory, laying waste to hundreds of seige and infantry weapons, worth more than twenty thousand marks (gold) altogether. Your heart skips a beat as peices of wood and iron crash into the wall of the inn. The screams follow almost immediately.
A shady, dark man runs away from the site of the explosion with a smile on his face. It was none other than Crowe. The symbols of leadership had been engraved into is face when he was but a child. They were grotesque-looking scars, that gave one a slight taste of the inhumanity that dwelt in his heart. His family had been brutally massacred by a wizard gang-leader from an enemy island. An intense hate for magic engulfed his brilliant mind. He set out to put an end to it once and for all and lead his island, Meridea, to glory in the process.
Most leaders would have deployed their henchmen to do such a thing, but Crowe did not consider his followers worthy enough. Anyway, it could only improve his god-like image among the them. As he sped away, he placed an incredibly life-like mask on his face.
What a surprise those defenders are going to have when they find out... that is, if they survive the traps.
