Lake of the scylla(non gm)

[dgurushesh]

ishtar sitting beside the lake, thinking about the promise he made 2 his parents, looks at the peaceful lake, the le crusane is harboured in the dock, ishtar is attracted to a glistening pbject in the lake, and steps in the water, as he does, the rocks beneath him move, disbalancing him, a tentacle slash tail kind of thing grabs on to him and pulls him under water.ishtar shouts"help me my friends."

Ishtar - 2 wounds

Aten sees Ishtar being dragged into the water. He runs towards the lake and stops at the banks of the large water body. The surface of the lake shows little movement. The water seems to have swallowed Ishtar whole. Unsure of what to do next, Aten cautiously walks into the water, trying to spot Ishtar.

[Illaiden]

Illaiden was in the woods but sees the problem and runs over to Aten. He puts his cloak and his quiver along with his bow on the ground and asks Aten.

"Ready for a swim?"

Illaiden asks while holding his Double Sword

[Arvind Pillai]

"That thing would rip us to shreds if we tried to swim here. It will probably surface again soon. Hopefully Ishtar will still be alive."

Aten looks up to the clear skies.


"d**n eagles... they're never there when ya need em."

[dgurushesh]

ishtar is suddenly thrown over water, landing straight in the hull of the le crusane.
ishtar - 3wounds
ishtar limps up to you, all bloodied up, scratched in different places, he says,"i think we're gonna need the le...", he takes a sharp breath crying in pain,"crusane for this one."

[Arvind Pillai]

"We probably are gonna need it." Aten says, admiring the former pirate ship.

"We went through a lot to get this baby didnt we?"

((Illaiden - In case you didnt know.. the Le Crusane is a pirate ship.))

"I doubt that thing is coming back. Why should we pursue it?"

[dgurushesh]

"well, for one it took my staff, leaving me with this useles piece of metal.", says ishtar pointing at the dagger,"and coz when it took me down, you won't believe what i saw, i saw this shipwreck, full of artillery and well for the money - hungry, gold. if this falls in the wrong hands, well..... plus the le crusane could do with more cannons and fire power, we destroyed quite a bit of them last time we took it."ishtar smiles at the two of them then continues rubbing his chest.

[Illaiden]

Illladien walks around the ship

"It definatly needs more fireopower"

He picks up his bow, his quiver, and cloak when..........the tentacle reaches up out of the water and tries to grab him so he shoots it and it goes back into the water.

"Whatever it is, its hostile........ extremely hostile"

[dgurushesh]

ishtar shudders at seeing the tentacle, and says"the scary part is the tentacle is the animal's tail actually, i was able to catch just a glimpse of ti, hope it's not what i think it is, coz a scylla's tail is the only one that that looks like a tentacle."(( a scylla is this mythical monster with a jagged tentacle sort of tail and three heads.))

[Arvind Pillai]

"Allright.. lets get going." say Aten, looking at the dark figure swimming away underwater.

"Illaiden, you shoot anything that happens to leap out the deep. Ishtar, you steer the ship, I'll man this cannon over here. Im not sure how we will be able to get your staff back however.."

[dgurushesh]

ishtar says."neither am i, most probably we will have to hunt around when scavenging the shipwreck." ishtar uses the tiger's paw, starts to steer the ship, heading towards the spot where the monster had last appeared.

[Illaiden]

Illaiden walks around the ship watching the water.

"I just had a thought what if the Scyllas head comes up then how do we get rid of it?"

[dgurushesh]

ishtar replies,"dont have a clue, hope it's not a scylla." as if though taunting ishtar's hope, a huge head pops out of the water, trying to take a jab at the crusane."SCYLLA!!!!!", ishtar shouts,"HOLD on". ishtar using his reflexes, agility, steers the ship out of the scylla way, causing the ship to shake madly, ishtar signals aten and illaiden to fire.

[Arvind Pillai]

A cannon ball erupts from the mouth of the cannon wounding the scylla.

Aten screams: "Illaiden.. DO SOMETHING!!"

"Doing Doing!"

Illaiden shoots the Scylla a few times then he grabs a shortbow from the ships small armory.He jumps in the water and shoots the Sycalla doing more damage he gets back on the ship and lights his arrows and shoots the sycalla a few arrows miss but a couple hit theyre mark
