You have been summoned to the annual round table meeting of the White Castle by the king. Here, all the senators of Shandon convene and discuss matters of public importance.
The meeting starts in the morning. After a short speech, the king asks his senators if any issues are to be a discussed.
Ivorin, a young healer is quick to take to the stand. He tells the king of how the people yearn for a democracy where they can all be equal.
He also mentions how many political opponents of his have been killed or imprisoned for no apparent reason.
"I am unafraid to die, my lord." he said, "If it is for my country. Spies, improper administration and corruption have torn apart Shandon and I will stand it no longer."
The king simply dismisses him with an airy gesture and said something about arrogant healers.
You are disgusted and enraged by this response. You agree with everything said by Ivorin.
You are asked by the king if you would like to discuss something.
Will you hold your tounge? Or speak out against injustice?

Kravis stands and cracks his neck.
"Democracy leads to progress. Progress leads to prosperity. Prosperity leads to happiness."
Kravis smiles and again speaks.
"Infact,what is a king? What is a president? What is a prime minister? Why are we all here?"
Kravis coughs and shrugs.
"Well, for the people. People make up the kingdom. Without people there is no kingdom. Whitout people there is no king."
With a short pause, Kravis lets his words rub on the crowd.
"Now, democracy os for the now. The moment, the time is right. Implement democracy.Set the wheels of progress in motion. Demcractic governments have progeressed all over the land. At this time, I stand by Ivorin.

"Kravis? I thought you would be smarter than to support this fool. The people do not know how to govern themselves. Only a king is fit to rule them."
You notice a hint of disgust in the voice of king as he speaks again:
"... and imagine! How stange it would be if all the races were equal. Whites, blacks and mongloids all having the same rights? Bah!"

Kravis got up . Unsheathed his sword, opened a portal and jumped from behind the king!
"YAhhh!!!!!!!!!!"
As he yelled, he stuck his sword in the kings skull!

At this point Kravis was hoping his day dream was true.

The king was aghast. His policy of racism was well known.
"Kravis! You have no right to say such things! You want to overthrow me for a bunch or illiterate, black mongrels! Democracy is a satanic, fake ideology. I will make every effort to stop it. Hold your tongue Kravis. You'll regret saying what you have."
An evil, sinister look creeps into the king's reddened eyes.

"Fool! Your eyes are shadowed with the cloaks of discrimination. Your arrogance will lead to your downfall King!"
Kravis was no standing and he had banged the table with his hand as he stood up.His eyes were flaring with anger.
"Many Kings have died for democracy! You will be one of them if you don't keep your guard up King!"
Kravis was mad. Kravis had no control over his mind. He just spoke and spoke.
"Sorry, your honour, it's .., sorry"

None of the senators could hear the Kravis apologising. They were now on a roll. For the very fist time, they spoke without fear.
The first time they spoke against the king.
They exposed his unjust and racial laws and the plight of the people.
The king was distressed, he wasnt accustomed to anybody speaking against him.
At the end of an two-hour long session, the head senate finally passed a motion for the establishment of a commitee to look into the issue on a far larger scale.
The king simply laughed.
"You think you have any power? This whole senate is pointless! You have no power! I can veto any of your decisions!"
Suddenly, a grim look came over his face.
"But.. I cant let you go around spreading this democracy business."
The king seemed to be in deep thought.
"I cant exile you either. You might try and start some sort of movement against me. Oh well, I guess I'll have to use the third option."
The king smiled sadistically and clapped his hand. An arrow flew out of nowhere, straight into Ivorin's neck. The senator fell with no more than a gurgle. Suddenly, arrows began flying all about the hall.
"Crossbowmen!"
You spot the king fleeing to a nearby door. You duck as a crossbow bolt whistles past your ear.

Kravis thinks fast.He opens a portal under the table.
"Get in senators. I assure you shall go to safety!"
Kravis crouches to see how many crossbowmen are there in the room

"Ahhh!! MY HEAD !! Get outta my head!!" A crossbowman was yelling, as Dorney, a senator, ran towards the portal. Dorney threw a poison bomb at another bowman. He got the attention he didnt need. Fluck fluck fluck, Crossbowmen firing away at dorney, this was it for him.

A single crossbow bolt strikes Dorney in the shoulder. He yelps in pain and faulters momentarily.
((Since yer new to this, I have edited your post a bit. How does this poison bomb thing work exactly? Is it like some small potion thing you through which explodes releasing poisonous gas? Maybye you should describe it on your profile. Good RPing so far. And thats your first post.))
As Kravis whizzes his head around he is able to count 9 crossbowmen. Many are hidden on ledges on the walls and some behind furniture.
The king is now nowhere in sight.

Kravis was not sure how he would fight. As a safety measure they had taken Kravis' weapons at the gate entrance. Kravis had an idea , the Flaming Grawns whould help him. Kravis opened another giant portal over the round table. THen he ran into another portal beside it.
Fluck Fluck Fluck. Many fired at him. He picked out the ones who were most likely to fire at what ever comes out of that giant portal and attempterd a grab on one behind a sofa.
Grab, Snatch, Jump, dissapear. He once again apperared behind another bowman and applied the same routine. Two more on the hitlist of Kravis.
Suddenly, he appeared in front of the giant portal. He vanished inside it. The portal disintegrated.
There was ten seconds of silence. Then suddenly the Yell of a Gryphon. Another portal opened and out flew a Gryphon. Kravis was yelling something unknown to anyone.
"Nolakeen!"
His hands lit up. And he started firing lightning bolts at their enemies.Suddenly he stopped and yelled.
"Luk gaw huna faris nolee tar hulfan. Treon mar fer kyon huyynas. lkiisna inklkis hulfan"

The gryphon flew out through another portal.Kravis bravely fought the bowmen and hurled bolts of lightning at the bowmen. Kravis had no idea how much damage he could inflict, or how much damage they had taken.

The gryphon sets off, dodging the deadly barrage of arrows. His well tuned nose picks up the kings scent. He begins trailing him. The large beast flies through the hallways and corridors, giving many a guard a fright.
But alas! the king has already escaped through a secret passage!
The gryphon stops once he reaches a large metal door. Lacking opposable thumbs, he is unable to open it. It is probably locked anyway. He had no chance of throwing himseld through it. The door was made of an alloy of mithril and iron.
Kravis manages to kill 4 crossbowmen. Their fragile crossbows are broken and cant be used.
A crossbow bolt strikes you in the leg.
You hear more troops storming towards the hall from a nearby corridor.
Dorney - 1 wound
Kravis - 2 wounds

((dude can you mention properly what soldiers and how many are there? Can you also mention the number of crossbowmen remaining?Including the ones hiding ?))
Kravis keeps on jumping from portal to portal. He needs a way to stop these bowmen. He was wounded and could not walk. He portaled under the table.
"Kuveen!"
Kravis could feel the presense of all the people around him

((I cant mention the number of soldiers moving in. You cant even see them. Suffice to say that there are many. 5 crossbowmen remain (9-4). If I told you how many were hiding, they wouldnt really be hiding, now would they? :s))

Lord Xan is relaxing for once under the shade of a huge banyan tree, when suddenly a very frightened and agonized looking villager runs towards him and manages to say:
" Sir...King...Try to... Kill... Senate...Kravis...fight..in Shandon...Castle.." He collapses.
Immediately Lord Xan swings into action. He starts his run towards the Castle of Shandon.
